Nepal, a small country at the top of the world, at the confluence of China and India. 29 million inhabitants, overwhelmingly rural. One of the poorest countries in the world. A population that thinks more about surviving than about living and where health comes last. Saint-Chamond Espoir, for the sake of continuity and monitoring of the populations cared for, is currently organizing two health camps in the villages of MANE GAON and BALCHE where it has already worked, among other things, for the creation of the network water and for the purchase of desks for the local school. The villagers are in great distress and are isolated. They do not have the means to take care of their health. That's why SCE offers to bring care directly to their doorstep. The team, made up of doctors, physiotherapists, opticians, nurses and other volunteers, will offer various treatments on site: - Hygiene (washing the eyes, ears, etc.) - Equipment with corrective glasses, via the ESSILOR VISION FOR LIFE foundation ( partnership being validated) - Dermatology - Ophthalmology, via the MANOJ association (cataract surgery in partnership with the Kathmandu hospital) - Physiotherapy and Osteopathy The team is in place, we are waiting with our fingers crossed that the health situation current continues to be controlled to be able to keep these camp dates.

Description
Saint-Chamond Espoir, dans un soucis de continuité et de suivi des populations prises en charge, organise en ce moment même deux camps de santé dans les villages de la communauté de Roshi où elle a déjà œuvré, pour la création du réseau d'eau et pour l'achat de bureaux pour l'école locale.
Les villageois sont dans une grande détresse et sont isolés. Ils n'ont pas les moyens de prendre soin de leur santé. C'est pourquoi SCE propose d'apporter directement les soins à leur porte.
L'équipe, constituée de médecins, kinésithérapeutes, opticiens, infirmières et autres bénévoles proposera sur places des soins divers :
- Hygiène (lavage des yeux, des oreilles...)
- Equipement en lunettes correctrices, via la fondation ESSILOR VISION FOR LIFE (partenariat en cours de validation)
- Ophtalmologie, via l'association MANOJ (chirurgie de cataracte en partenariat avec l'hôpital de Katmandu)
- Kinésithérapie et Ostéopathie
L'équipe est en place, nous attendons en croisant les doigts que la situation sanitaire actuelle continue d'être maitrisée pour pouvoir garder ces dates de camps de santé.
