Since 2011, Saint Chamond ESPOIR has supported two sewing workshops located in Columbo and Batticaloa. The sale of their creations allows 60 women to receive a modest but sufficient salary to support their families. We make donations for the purchase of raw materials, fabrics, threads ... used for the realization of these works. The seamstresses of these workshops work on the design of religious clothing (stoles), traditional outfits, home textiles (tablecloths, sheets, napkins, etc.) We have also financed the purchase of a machine for making hosts in 2015. The latter has enabled the creation of many jobs on site.
